UKAS assesses organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services against international standards. UKAS approval demonstrates the competence, impartiality and performance capability of evaluating organisations. It is the only national accreditation body recognised by Government.

It is an international standard that reassures our customers that we have demonstrated to an independent evaluator that we pursue a process of continuous improvement to provide a quality service and product. • having the necessary procedures in place to control and maintain quality throughout the process from customer service to despatch
• training in all processes to ensure that necessary guidelines are available at all times
• having the necessary quality equipment and materials to ensure a quality product is ready for despatch to the customer.

ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (accreditation gained) ISO 14001 is an international standard that reassures KnowledgePoint clients that we have provided evidence to an independent ratifying body that we pursue a programme of continuous improvement in providing an environmentally-friendly service and product and that we invest in the resources necessary to ensure a more sustainable future. ISO 14001 benefits include:

• accurate work order instructions that meet customer environmental requirements
• the necessary procedures to control and maintain environmental hazards throughout our process from customer service to despatch
• training in all processes to ensure that the necessary guidelines are available at all times (eg: appropriate recycling, fire evacuation and so forth)
• the necessary equipment and materials to ensure that an environmentally-friendly product is ready for despatch to the customer
• a commitment to offsetting our carbon footprint by using printing machines which allow us, currently, to recover a minimum of 384 tonnes of CO2.
