KnowledgePoint’s online ordering system includes a lead-time matrix, which automatically selects the most appropriate and cost-effective delivery option to meet their customers’ deadlines. After the consignment is sent, the customer can monitor its progress through the KnowledgePoint website, which is connected directly to the DHL Express tracking system. Although most of its shipments are within the European Union, KnowledgePoint also frequently ships to countries such as Russia, the Middle East and Africa which – because of particular local border and customs regulations – require appropriate experience and expertise. DHL’s vast experience of working in these markets means delivery is ensured within the necessary timescales. This, and the support and advice DHL offer were key factors leading to the new contract. |
