This approach has enabled us, in 2008, to create test and introduce a bespoke software programme which delivers weight verification and bar-code scanning for KnowledgePoint’s customised and automated digital production of on-demand training course materials. Our new system compares expected consignment weight with actual weight. If there’s a difference in excess of a calculated tolerance then an error is flagged. What does this mean for our customer? Tracking ‘right product/right quantity/right box’ accuracy gives tremendous benefits in terms of reduced time and cost wastage and enhanced customer confidence in their consignment. It’s just one example of how we constantly seek to improve our systems to provide an outstanding service and experience for our clients and end-users. |
