KC Stock Control Assistant
A vacancy has arisen in our Stock Control department for a Stock Control Assistant at our KnowledgeCast facility in Winnersh Triangle.
The main responsibilities of this role are to support the Stock Control Supervisor in monitoring stock levels and quality, and in ensuring the warehouse is a safe working environment through being maintained within current Health and Safety standards. A major focus of the role is to ensure accurate Stock Reports are completed daily to ensure stock components are maintained at consistent and efficient levels, as well as adherence to Company stock control procedures. This role is integral to the quality of service and products we provide our customers to ensure their needs are satisfied.
You will report directly to the Stock Control Supervisor and liaise closely with the Production team regarding supply and demand stock issues. Following the Stock Control procedures, you will ensure that daily and weekly tasks are completed on time to the required standards. The successful candidate will achieve an understanding of and maintain the Operating Procedures relevant to this role and seek to improve internal systems of operation to ensure consistency and increase efficiency in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
We are looking for a self-motivator who will be happy working on their own without supervision and uses their own initiative to solve problems whilst keeping others involved in their decisions.
Transport is desirable as you may be required to work at either of our two sites, and a current Counter-Balance forklift licence is essential.
The core hours of this position are 8.00am to 4.30pm and some flexibility will be required.
